SIEMENS PLC 1200 DATA SHEET

The modular controler SIMATIC S7-1200 is the core of the new Siemens product line for simple automation tasks but with high precision.

GENERAL FEATURES

• The Simatic S7-1200 off ers installation profesional a wide range of technical features such as:
• High processing capacity. 64 bits calculation.
• Ethernet interface/ PROFINET incorporated.
• Incorporated analog inputs.
• Function bloks for axis control in accordance with PLCopen.
• Programming through software tool STEP 7 Basic v13 for the confi guration and programming not only for the S7-1200, but for all the Simatic Basic Panels range.
• The S7-1200 system developed is equipped with fi ve diff erent CPUmodels (CPU 1211C, CPU 1212C, CPU 1214C, CPU 1215C and CPU 1217C ) that can be expanded to the necesities and requirements of the machines.

SIGNAL BOARD:

• It can be added to any of the front part of the CPUs so the digital and analog signals can be easily expalded without aff ecting the size of the controller.

COMMUNICATION:

• All the Simatic S7-1200 CPUs can be equipped up to three communication modules which are placed to the left of the controller, allowing communication without discontinuities. These modules are:
• PROFIBUS Master/slave
• GPRS communication
• AS-i and more Fieldbus systems
